Funding & Resources - Northeastern States Research Cooperative

The Northeastern States Research Cooperative (NSRC)  is a competitive grant program that supports research on the Northern Forest – a 26 million acre expanse stretching across northern New York and New England. NSRC is administered in four themes:

  1. Sustaining Productive Forest Communities (UVM)
  2. Sustaining Ecosystem Health in Northern Forests (UNH)
  3. Forest Productivity and Forest Products (CRSF, UMaine)
  4. Biodiversity and Protected Area Management (SUNY-ESF)

Theme 3, Forest Productivity and Forest Products is administered here in the CRSF. See the NSRC website for a complete listing of completed and ongoing research projects and information about updates about funding opportunities.

For more information on Theme 3 here at CRSF, contact Dr. Robert Wagner.
